Visitation of the Sick

  • Saint Mary's Homebound Ministry is designed to support those parishioners who are no longer able to attend services on a regular basis. Our Homebound Ministers visit and take Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound or in care centers  within the our parish boundary.  While our visitors  bring compassion, caring and  a sense of belonging and connection to Saint Mary's through Eucharist,  they often comment that they, in turn, receive tremendous grace from their interactions with the homebound.

If you or a family member would like to receive Holy Communion in your home or residence, please call Marge Keohane at 781-665-0152, ext. 10 or email:  marjk50@comcast.net

VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS MINISTRY ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AND NEEDED.

Please consider the Homebound Ministry.   The commitment usually consists of a visit to one or two shutins on a monthly, bi-weekly or weekly schedule, depending on the availablity of the visitor and needs of the parishioner.  Training to become a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound will be provided by Anne Hackett.

If you would like to learn more about this Ministry or have already decided this is something you would like to participate in, please call Marge Keohane at the rectory, 781-665-0152, ext. 10 or email: marjk50@comcast.net
