Preparation to receive First Communion is a two-year program beginning in Grade one. First Communion is celebrated in the spring for children in 2nd grade who have been Baptized. If your child is attending public school or a non-Catholic elementary school, please email Karen Tarmey at SMPMelroseCRE@gmail.com or call Lisa Hudson at 781-665-0152, ext. 13 to register your child for the First Communion program. Due to the pandemic, virtual classes will be held.
