The Holy Sacrament of Baptism is the first of many of the seven Sacraments a Roman Catholic believer will receive. It's a sacrament of initiation, cleansing, strengthening, and welcoming. Baptism welcomes us into the community of Christian believers. It offers us a new life in which we become the adopted children of God, followers of Christ, and temples in which the Holy Spirit dwells. We look forward to baptizing your child.
To arrange a Baptism, please contact Lisa Hudson at the rectory (781-665-0152 Ext. 103) or email her at Lisahudson21@comcast.net. She will be happy to arrange for the Baptism of your child and answer any questions you may have, as well as assist you in filling out the required forms. Parents and godparents are expected to attend a short catechesis. Godparents must be over the age of 18 and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. A non-Catholic Christian may serve as a Christian witness in lieu of one godparent. One godmother and one godfather are allowed and one must be a Confirmed Catholic.
