Members maintain upper and lower sanctuaries in a simple & clean manner. 

 

Objective:

To prepare and maintain our altars for the celebration of Holy Eucharist.

Duties/Responsibilities:

After Liturgy
- purify, wash, and replace all sacred vessels
- rinse purificators and cruets
- clean altar linens and vestments

Other
- dust, polish, and clean altar areas & sacristies as needed
- take items to drycleaners as needed
- help with deep cleaning of sanctuaries and church at Easter and Christmas 

Qualifications:

Faithful, dependable, responsible, cooperative, and willing to take initiative if necessary 

Training:

No formal training needed

Time of Ministry:

Daily and/or weekends for 15-20 minutes, and then approximately 2 hrs monthly & 1 hr weekly
